Scope of this notice
This notice explains how betsio.me.uk handles personal data when you read our independent coverage of Betsio casino and sportsbook. It covers this portal only – once you leave here and register on the operator's own platform, its own privacy policy takes over, and we have no visibility into anything you do there.
We are a UK-facing information site, not the gambling operator, and this document is written from that position throughout.

Who else might see it

These parties process data on our instructions and under contract; they don't get to use it for their own purposes. We never sell personal data, and we don't hand it to the operator behind Betsio – that relationship, if you choose to register, is entirely separate from this one.
Your controls under UK GDPR
Under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, you can ask us to access, correct or delete the data we hold on you, restrict or object to processing, move your data elsewhere, or withdraw any consent you've given. Email [email protected] with your request and we'll respond within a reasonable timeframe.
If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the UK's supervisory authority, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), which oversees data protection compliance independently of this site.
How long we keep it
Contact-form correspondence is kept only as long as needed to resolve your query and for a short period afterwards in case you follow up. Analytics data is retained in aggregated or anonymised form after a limited window – we don't keep an indefinite personal log of your visits.
Protecting minors
This portal, and the gambling content it discusses, is restricted to adults 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information through our contact form, email us and we'll remove it promptly.
Changes to this notice
We may update this policy as our tools or obligations change. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date, so it's worth checking back occasionally rather than assuming nothing has moved.
